I'm sorry but nothing has changed.  I still receive the same error when I 
am configuring python as per the README in PyQt

python configure.py
Error: Make sure you have a working Qt v4 qmake on your PATH or use the -q
argument to explicitly specify a working Qt v4 qmake.

I am doing all of this from within the PyQt directory.

Also, the README states that I should just 'make' but the computer is 
telling me that I have no target.  Ok, I get that, but what is the target 
exactly for PyQt? As said, I am initiating all this from within the 
directory but there are a lot of folders and nothing clearly looks like 
something to 'make'
