Oh yeah, oops. That was a mouthful of apt-get.  I failed to notice.

I cd'd into the directory and tried to install but I am getting the 
following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "setup.py", line 4, in <module>
    from setuptools import setup
ImportError: No module named setuptools

hmm.
