To test it on your desktop, just copy default.db to your Mnemosyne data directory, which is probably C:\users\saka\Application Data\Mnemosyne (not your program directory C:\program files\Mnemosyne)

If it always hangs on the same card, feel free to mail me your database privately, tell me which card it is, and I'll have a look at it.

There is no error message, I'm afraid. It simply stops responding, and Windows 7 shows its spinning disc cursor until the application is forcibly shut down.

This almost invariably happens just after choosing a number after reviewing a particular item, although it doesn't seem to make any difference whether the number is chosen with the keyboard/keypad or by clicking the buttons in the application.


The only known problem I'm aware of is that on some Windows machines, the
program occasionally hangs when displaying an image. I have not been able to
reproduce this, so it's probably a system-specific bug in the library mnemosyne
uses.


I haven't been using any images in my situation, so I am probably not encountering this particular bug.

I'll try it on the desktop and see how that works, but it would be best if I could get the portable version working reliably, so if you have any additional ideas, please let me know.
