no it was 2.3.3, I am sure. I had the permission and was able to get 2.3.3 back working the way it was. But, now I am back to the original roadblock where syncing immediately brings the "mismatched user ids" message on the phone and the "Client logging in" on the computer that doesn't do anything at all unless I press Sync on the phone again and that brings the "Sync failed, restoring from backup" message on the computer.
