Yes you are correct, I have only updated my Mac and *not *Mnemosyne ( I am 
scared of touching the application for fear of making the situation worse). 

Any help from the Mac expert would be wonderful!

I would love to be back studying as soon as possible :) Mnemosyne is 
awesome and I have been using it for the past 8 years. Thus this data is 
priceless for me :)
