Hi,
I wish to suggest some improvement to the user interface of Mnemosyne.
It would be a good thing to add another step between assessing an answer
and proceeding to the next card - as it was in Supermemo 98, for instance.
I mean that, in Supermemo after choosing the mark using buttons on the
bottom of a window (screenshot https://goo.gl/uPn5mC), the user was
presented with another set of buttons, which were: "Next repetition",
"Stop" and "Cancel grade" (screenshot https://goo.gl/U3etl7). The user was
then able to correct the grade (if he/she chose the wrong mark accidentaly
- what happens quite often).
It would improve the repetition process even further when dealing with more
complicated items (as on a screenshot - https://goo.gl/5wq2YA). In this
example I have to:

1. Repeat the question after the sound-recording
2. Guess the missing part in an example sentence
3. Repeat a phrase in an answer
4. Read and understand all the example sentences in an answer field.

It would be a lot better if I am given an option to grade myself after
uncovering the answer field, then keeping it on a screen for some time, and
then proceeding to the next repetition item (without having to recollect
the most suitable grade).

I hope you will consider this (I believe useful) improvement.

P.S.
I considered putting this suggestion to the idea list, but the description
had to be too concise.
