That sounds even worse than the previously used trash-mailing list, but
whatever works for you. :)
FWIW you can easily get an OTRS queue and set up notifications for those
willing to follow it, so that in practice it works as a mailing list but
with nice todo/tracking features to avoid losing stuff.
