Yes, this is very unfortunate. I used to have the same problem, so I hear you loud and clear. The problem is the amount of spam that we'd otherwise receive in bug reports. Don't know if there is some newer version of Trac that fixes this that we could install on the server. Or if there is some other solution that would work. Until that happens, emailing to this list or directly to the bug owner should work. Sorry about that.
