But such things could be connected to tcl.apache.org and/or written by the
author / contributors / someone related.
AFAIK php has this done in a nicer way - you build the apache libraries +
set of functions, some in so, some in main library. It would be a good
idea if mod_dtcl would supply a lot of related stuff - sql support
(simply include ns_tcl when it's finished), session support and whatever
comes to mind. Just like tcl - there are many useful libraries included (I
wonder when will tcllib be included as well :). It's much simplier to use
and send info to someone else on how to install dtcl...
I had such a situation once - I needed mod_dtcl + tcllib + ::http and some
other thing. Took me about a week just to explain how to get it all
installed. It is a real horror.
I don't know what you guys here on the list think, but from my experience
it would be a lot better to distribute dtcl along with everything
connected with WWW. Any thoughts on that?
