I took the plunge to start working with frameworks in the last year. I started by following Dan Wilson's Model-Glue tutorial on his blog and found it to be an exceptional learning tool. I then went on to attend the Mach-ii workshop at this year's cf.objective() which served to reinforce the cfc and oo learning I had done with Model-Glue.
I would agree with Jared that there's no real reason to learn Unity now that Gesture is available. And I also agree that diversity is good in frameworks. Having explored MG:U and M2 as well as sat in on sessions on Coldbox at cf.objective() there are things about each of these frameworks that I can get excited about and things that I would prefer to see different. Place no artificial limitations on yourself and explore and learn as much about each of the available frameworks as you can. - Jeff On Sep 5, 11:35 am, polobruce <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I am working on building a small application and wanted to try to > learn a framework in the process.
