After restarting my laptop, I hit another app on my web server... a Fusebox app... it loaded just fine. I loaded my MG app after that. It took the normal amount of time and didn't time out.
By pinging a .cfm file, I'm pretty sure Dan just meant to pull up a simpler app first or surf right to any stand alone .cfm page upon restarting your server. Then load the MG app thereafter and see if the MG app loads successfully. I could be wrong, but my interpretation of it seems to have cut down the load time to simply the MG-app specific files vs. the CF stuff that applies to all apps. Thanks, Dan.
