umm. ween..faith no more used to be..the doors...i think metallica was on
epic for awhile. epic is warner's big label for slightly out-there
bands...lots of indie rockers find their way to epic, including a lot in the
last few years that slip my mind at present..correct me if i'm wrong and my
memory fails me.. >>
Um, I think your memory is failing you. Epic has no connection to Warner
Bros. and Ween (Who's new live album kicks serious ass) and Metallica are
both on Elektra. Epic is home to such "greats" as Pearl Jam, Oasis, and Rage
Against the Machine. Also Christian rockers Petra and and future of rock
bands, Save Ferris and Silverchair are on Epic, not to mention Babyface, Bone
Thugs & Harmony, Gloria Estefan and Julio Iglesias Jr...Wait, it gets better:
Steve Vai & Stevie Ray Vaughan are BOTH on Epic, as are close friends of the
Mouse, KORN. (Sorry my keyboard doesn't do the backwards "R" thing.) Not to
worry though, they have a couple of gems in their catalog, namely Black
Sabbath and Boston. Hope that clears it up for y'all.
