while i admit to lowered expectations due to the Japan EP and the Epic-ness,
i also have total faith in MM, which is why i will be buying the album come
May. Of course we want them to evolve, and they will, hopefully in a good
way. But i still beleive they would have been better off on Up or another
indie label. they would have sold an unprecedented number of albums for a
non-Pavement indie rock band, and would have gotten PAID.
