I missed the item on Boston history...it could be rather boring. If one
wanted to be pedantic about it, one could find a variety of Native American,
Irish, & Viking influence throughout New England for several thousand years...
I'm hardly patriotic or nationalistic, but I resent the pointlessly
derrogatory condescension focused on Americans, & their supposed lack of
culture, & wonder what it derives from. Lets face it: every part of the world
is banal, polluted, and has random violence. It's just taking some places a
while to catch-up!
