*im not jedi phobic..i just think the following of star wars is silly and
*juvenile...
*
as is complaining about it.
*
*yeah.right. sorry, there isnt a difference. both types of fans are
*obsessive. both are obsessed with silly unreal movies. both have a
*tendency
*to act like characters from their obsession. both pay obscene amounts of
*money for a limited edition toy when the money could be better spent on,
*well, anything. i watch neither. thank god.
hm. since i cant shake your prejudice and your stereotyping of all star wars
fans, let me try to put myself into perspective:
I own a few star wars toys, most of them i bought out of reminiscence from
my childhood. I never buy special edition this or that, though I do have
two copies of the movies, since that is what it is about, just movies. My
life is not centered around star wars, though I did join the Jedi Knights
Scooter Club. And, for your information, I joined the club not mainly
because of star wars, but becuase of all the scooter clubs i have met, the
Jedi Knights are the coolest, most friendly people I have ever met.
As an homage to this fact, I keep up a slightly more fanatic star wars
persona than i have in reality to go with the theme of the club.
I am sorry if you can't see the humor of the whole situation, but I am and
will always hold my head up high, proud to be a Jedi.
