You KNOW why. (a) it is fun. (b) it is just the right thing to do.

Actually Davy did speak of people "blagging on about retro fare"...and he has
constantly bashed on the '60s faction' on this list since day one.
Now I know you are the holy defender of all things dancey, but haven't I spoke
in past posts of other non-mod musical tastes of mine? Shall I bash other
people on here because they might not share my appreciation for Patsy Cline?
(Nice documentary on VH1 recently. Anybody catch it? Great old footage...)
Now that certainly ain't mod. But hey it's 60s ain't it? And I could even stretch
it
by saying that she sang rather soulful as well. See what I mean? I'd rather just
not bring it up on the modslist. It is irrelevant.

It is obvious who I am trying to offend (or rather I thought it was...it wasn't
aimed at you)...the needy Mr. Love. If you wish to rise to the bait in defense of
freakin' house music,
britpop, and Davy...(what ELSE would they talk about on this new "modern"
modslist...)
then well, what can I say Julian. More power to ya.
