how many subscribed to futura mods just for the pure folly of it all?
does anyone really expect it to last longer than a month. It's going to
be exactly like the plethora of mod clubs on yahoo, where some trumped
up fourteen year old thinks they are king shit because they can boot
people off as they see fit. Part of the charm of Modslist is the
complete farce it develops into as we become bored of the status quo
that settles in and cut off our noses to spite our faces. Despite their
obvious annoying behaviour, people like Davy and Paul and <insert your
own favourite modslister's name - collect them all > are present on
Modslist because there are people like that in real life. Life is full
of clowns, life is full of sad pathetic gits, life is full of quiet
observers who know a hell of a lot more than the loud brazen attention
freaks. We can all leave modslist and start our own lists where everyone
loves us and no-one disagrees with our point of view but sooner or later
new people will come along to give us the screaming shits. All the long
time listers could spend hours reminiscing about people with much bigger
egos than Davy or much worse web pages than Paul.
Davy Love, I think you are one of the biggest fuckwits I have ever come
across, but I acknowledge your right to be a fuckwit, whether it be to
your own detriment or not.
There are quite a few dickheads in the Melbourne mod scene, but I still
go out because there are others that are quite nice.
