Well, I've said this to others, so I'll say it to you too...just
stay home
then! While everyone else goes out and has a blast, you can tell
your
grand-children that you stayed home the nite it turned to the year
2000.
Miss Misa (who will be in Toronto, dancing, drinking and havin' a
jolly time
celebrating everything in life BUT christianity)
Have fun!
God misinterpretation or what?
Did I write that I was staying home?........did I.....
I merely posted the question as to what folk would be doing and I
never mentioned that I wasn't doing anything.
At the end of the day all I did was post my view on how over rated I
thought all the hype was regarding the millennium. Trying to keep it
slightly Modlist orientated relating it to new year mod events.
I don't know? Some people are so quick to jump to conclusions? And
then they just end up sending post having digs at people for their point of
view? Every body entitled for their own point of view what did I do wrong?
Crazy?
However of course I will be going out and doing something but at the
end of the day only for the excuse for a party, I wont be going out to go
"oh wow a new millennium".
Of course for the folk who are easily lead by hype they can spend
their hundreds of pounds on over priced venues I don't mind, do what you
want but remember to save a bit of money to replace all their possessions
effected by the millennium BUG! Ha ha.

There has been quite a bit of talk on the list regarding all this
millennium
tripe!
However it all seems to be info about do's in America.
Just wondered what people's plans were over here?
There are loads of overpriced events going off & I know for us
northern folk
their holding a joint BB/Garage night for 50 with free
drinks.......?
Now I ain't tight but when you take into consideration travel and
lodgings
things could get very pricey indeed for some folk! This has got to
affect
the turnout hasn't it?
How many people have taken this night into consideration?
Don't want to sound like a boring fart but at the end of the day it
is just
another night which is sure to be the biggest anticlimax in the
history of
mankind, oh wow a new millennium because someone said some bloke
called
Jesus was born ironically in the year 0000....crazy?
Anyway despite all that I am still interested to hear of what people
around
our northern neck of the woods will be doing.
