Hello,
Here`s the proposition:
"Saturday Night Fever" is the most "Mod" film ever made.

I mean, you get bloke who has a pretty crap existence, gets dressed up
in his best gear, takes more than a pride in his appearance, clothes
being of particular importance. Goes to the club, does "the business" on
the dancefloor, gets the attention through that and his look.
Effectively lives his life through his night time existence.

What can be more Mod than that ? Oh, and those nasty slip on shoes, I`ve
seen them at "Brighton Beach" too (albeit on "ironic" students !).

Anyone care to differ ? Can you name me a more "Mod" film in purest
terms ?

Cheers,
David W.
