If your question appears armed with even a meagre scrap of knowledge, you might find that there could be more ready response. Other than the odd private party, it doesn't seem that there's much 'mod-related' going on for the New Years in NE. (the forecast for Toronto does call for snow this year) Being flexible, however, I imagine you could always investigate another scene.
