Never mind the audience, what about the presenters? Not to disparage your
hard work, Dave, but I'm always amazed at the way any award show thingy that
VH1 or MTV try to do immediately turns into amateur hour. It's always really
bad-from the fashion awards to the movie awards and all that stuff. it's
always really vacuous celebrities making fun of the fact that they are
incapable of reading the foolish patter on the TelePrompTer. It almost always
comes down to which famous tits are almost hanging out. It's always like
they've never done TV before, I don't get it. And I'm not a huge Beck fan,
but he does have a darn good band.
