I think baby-boomers really have a hold on today's fashion market, and
because they're OLD they want to be COMFORTABLE. Not that being old and
comfortable is terrible.....but contemporary fashion is so comfort-based
now, it's making everything UGLY, BAGGY, ORTHOPEDIC, and NONDESCRIPT! As
Ben Pirani said to me "pretty soon adults will be walking around in
onesies." (Onesies - one-piece baby jumpers with armholes, legholes, and a
snap crotch). I wouldn't be too surprised! On 'casual Friday' around my
workplace I like to dress up in my BEST, most elaborate and most UN-CASUAL
outfits I have. Just for some contrast against the bland khaki army of my
co-workers.
