unfortunately noone spins northern soul at the soul nights in nyc. nor do
they ever spin motown, or anything remotely like it. the raven (12th and
a)has a soul night on tuesdays, which has a nice selection of northern
sounds, but thats about it. every 6 months or so, empire state soul club
will have a do, but those are few and far between.. ho hum..it will remain
an obscure genre and rare obsession around these parts, unfortunately.
