I a very sorry about copying the whole modslist into my message...I thought I had cut it, but I guess I hadn't.... While I'm here, though, let me bring up another pet peeve: it's L-E-D--Z-E-P-P-E-L-I-N! Not Led Zepplin! One of the posts the other day was talking about them, and had it spelled all wonky. I've even seen bloody tattoos that say "Zepplin." While we're at it, the day of the week is Wednesday not "Wensday." The contraction for you are (as in YOU ARE a real mod, not one of them phony types who just listens to the music and wears the clothes and rides the scooters)is "you're," not "your." Your indicates something that belongs to you, such as, "your scooter has so many mirrors on it that it makes you look like Jimmy from Quadrophenia!" Also, it's "passed out" from drinking not "past out." Now, the last one I haven't seen being used on the modslist, but I thought I'd include it in my little admonition anyway. I came across a yahoo club called "drunk and pastout girls," and was very disappointed when I entered only to find drunk and "passed out" girls-- I was hoping for some drunk girls dressed up in costumes of cave-women, or medieval wenches or something. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
