Why? Because Terry Rawlings or Paolo Hewitt told you so? How can you explain the fact 
that Sheffield, Manchester, Newcastle, etc, became big Mod cities around 1964/1965 if 
that was the case? People we're living in different times then, therefore us 
Northerners would have not have been up-to-speed with things going on in London until 
a good year/two years after.
Tell me exactly why Mod *did* die post 1962 then.....

Bullshit. Do you want to ring up my 16 year-old cousin and tell him to throw his Small 
Faces CD's and Paul Weller posters away because he hasn't the cash/real enthusiasm to 
call himself a Mod? He 'cant be into Mod' - why the fuck not? I seem to remember a lad 
called Secular a few years back joining this list, 'into Mod', trying to get people to 
tape him 'Green Onions'!
