I've got apache 1.3.6 + modssl 2.3.1 installed from .rpm's on the
modssl.org contrib page.
I have https working on a virtual host, the problem I'm having is that
it only works on about 10-15% of the accesses I try. The remaining ones
fail with the following message (Netscape 4.51 under RedHat 6.0)
"An Error occured while Netscape was sending data. (Network Error: I/O
Error) Try Connecting Again."
The problem is the same on other OS's (win95, 98) as well as using
Internet Explorer.
I must have something configured wrong... This seems like the error
described in the FAQ and default httpd.conf files as pertaining to bad
Microsoft Browsers... I tryed the fix therein with no effect. I also
tried applying this fix without the user agent if clause... still no
results...
Any suggestions...
