It may be linked into Apache because of PHP, but it then certainly isn't
enabled for mod_ssl, i.e. Apache wasn't compiled with -DEAPI_MM. Else MM would
be available to mod_ssl. I've now added support for EAPI_MM also to `httpd -V'
to allow one to easily check this situation in the future.
