Hi,

This sounds like a simliar problem that I'm having when using client
certificates. MSIE is causing problems and Netscape works. Our problem is
that it want to recreate the SSL session frequently if not for every object
and that, as a result, the session ID is changing which we want to used to
identify a person for that session.

I've have got past one point by removing the specific options for MSIE but
still have no luck.

Woulds it be fair to say that client certificates don't work properly with
MSIE?

Hi all
i am using RedHat 6.2 . Apache 1.3.12 was installed from rpm
i have installed mod SSL 2.6.6 out of the tar ball . i am using Open SSL
0.9.5a also from tarball
configuration was acheived using APXS

Th problem is that MSIE clients cannot access the secure website even
though
they can correctly identify the certificate
Btw i a using a test certificate from thawte
The error reported is

OpenSSL:Exit failed in SSLv3 read client certificate A
Spurious SSL handshake Interrupt (One of those Open SSL confusions)

also says "Seeding PRNG with 0bytes of entropy"

there is absolutely no problem with Netscape clients
 i hav added the SetEnvIF USer-Agent ........

lines as has been mentioned in this list but to no avail
i am at my wits end
is there some problem with Mod ssl 2.6.6

Tearing my hair
