busy setting up apache w/ssl and PHP4 (for IMP). freshly installed RedHat
6.2 box, patches through mid september from RedHat applied (i386), plus
libsafe.
i configure as per the docs:
./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.14
and then go to build apache also as per the docs. i cannot generate
anything beyond the notification of the SSL install, so no Makefiles in
src/ and below.
i downloaded 2.7.0 to play with, to see if a patch somewhere got messed
up. this didn't happen when i installed for apache 1.3.9, so i have done
this before. apache can build just fine with only php (or solo). it cannot
build when only mod_ssl is installed, either.
no mention of this bug anywhere on the net. anyone else seen this/
