This is a known issue with IE for mac. One solution that might do it is to install the CA cert into the browser with a link. Do this from a non SSL page. Have not tested my self... See manual for how to. The alert text stating that no encryption is done is not true. You kan check that by using StreamWatcher or Interanarchy on the Mac connecting.
