We have registered a Thawte global certificate for the hostname digfi.com. This seems to work perfectly in most known browsers, but not in MSIE 5.x on some machines. The error is a DNS error. Entering www.digfi.com (we have put that hostname in the DNS too) or digfi.com. (pointing out that the host name is a FQDN) works but gives the "Certificate registered for another host" message. This leads me to think that the problem is that IE tries to match digfi.com against the search list if available, and then gives up resolving the host. What can be done to solve this problem? Is it possible to install several certificates on the same machine to solve the problem that way?? --------------------- Rasmus Wiman 24HR International TEL: 08 - 442 97 64 ______________________________________________________________________ Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) www.modssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
