Hi, I'm having problems creating a certificate for my webserver for IE (even 5.5), netscape works fine. I'm using openssl 0.9.6, apache 1.3.14, mod_ssl 2.7.1 I already have tried the tricks mentioned in the faq http://www.modssl.org/docs/2.6/ssl_faq.html#ToC48 but still nothing. If I just use my certificate I created with openssl 0.9.4, everthing works fine, even when using openssl 0.9.6 on my server, and without the tricks mentioned in the FAQ section. But that certificate will expire soon and I want to use the new openssl version to create a new certificate. I use the CA.pl script in the following way: ./CA.pl newca ./CA.pl newreq ./CA.pl sign In my ssl_engine the same "errors" show up as mentioned already on this list: [01/Mar/2001 17:57:47 26887] [trace] OpenSSL: Write: SSL negotiation finished successfully [01/Mar/2001 17:57:47 26887] [info] Connection to child 8 closed with standard So it appears the way the certificate is created is wrong according to IE, but how to fix it?
