See if you can do some checking to see what type of errors you are getting.
It would be especially helpful if you can get someone in with a Tburd or
Sunset meter to monitor the circuit at your prem.  If you are getting
bipolar violations, in my experience it's about a 99% probability that they
are caused by a bad copper connection, ie the cable.  The far side (carrier)
won't see bipolars since those errors don't go across the smartjacks.   One
thing we do to verify bad customer equipment is put in a known good csu/dsu
and loop it from the co and do a loopback and stress test it (we are a
carrier) .   If you get the local carrier to come out with a tester, you can
also have them loop up and test the csu/dsu and router locally (directly
plugged into it) to see if you still get the errors so as to further isolate
the problem.
