That could be an answer for a very quick result. You simply link the MDB
to a SQL Database. However, that would require the data in the database
be stored in plain text (unless the Mail server has the decryption
routine). 

My suggestion to Michael was to create an SQL Database and hold
encrypted data in the tables. The stored procedures could be marked
encrypted and hence be protected. I do agree, however, that it will
always be possible to view the contents at some point. This can however,
be said for the MDB file as it is not hard to break the password
protection. I believe someone else posted saying they managed to change
the password so that they could access the MDB file.
