Yeah, I have ran a 30MB file through also, I don't know why moduscan
couldn't process this file. I checked the file and it was not corrupt.
Maybe the user had put the .doc file directly into their email or
something? (speculation... ). The concerning part is how the moduscan
basically went face down with this message (over 100MB for moduscan, 100%
CPU ). I am watching for it again. Just Friday I requested an evaluation
key so I could try and work with Modus and MySQL so I may try to replicate
this again. Is there a way I could just put this file directly into the
start of the Modus process or would it have to be mailed to introduce it?
I am just thinking that being able to use the exact .msg file would be
nice.
Thanks.
Lewis

I have successfully run a 33Mb file through the SCA. This file was also
zipped.

I'm sure I have run larger files through it in the past, but know off
the example above.

Lewis, Glad to see you were able to resolve this. A few additional
things you may check for:

I it possible this message was creating a mail loop?

Do you have file size limits set in Anti-Spam properties? While I've
not tested it, running a 6 meg file through the SCA engine may be quite
a load.

Bill

Not only did the memory "get good" but my CPU cycles went from 100% to
about 2% - 4% average with short bursts up to around 60%. That file
sucked
pretty bad :-)
Thanks.
Lewis
