If so this would explain the second instance of DLLHost.exe which was started by the Login (I'll presume your using PCAnywhere since you list it below and would say that explains the second DLLHost instance). It is also common to find multiple SVCHost.exe processes running. Regards, Suneel. -----Original Message----- From: Cary Fitch [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 08 November 2003 17:49 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * This is the modus mailing list * "Yes, I started such a thread a couple of days ago when my usage was over 500 megs (550?) Our ModusScan started at about 45 megs, and has crept up to 53.3 megs now. DLLHOST.EXE ??? is at 42,956 (What is that doing?) aspnet_wp.exe is using 35,100 ModusAdm.exe 33,772 SMTPRS.exe is using 19,408 Total is 470 megs. on 11/7 @ 4PM" ============================= Now... Saturday 11:30 AM: Modusscan.exe 52.400 meg DLLHOST.exe 45.116 aspnet_wp.exe 35.120 ModusAdm.exe 34.192 SMTPRS 14.728 Some of those are down, but total memory is up to 499 Megs. There are two instances of DLLHOST running, one with the listed 45 megs and one with 5.1 megs and at least 3 of svchost with 4-5 megs each. In round numbers, since restart in about two days, (maybe 2.5) we have "spent" an extra 200 megs, and it seems to be slowly climbing. There is nothing running on this machine but Modus and utiitiles like PCSomewhere.
