it usually has to do with virus checking on their computer.  Norton and MacAfee both hang up on messages with some kind of header error.  maybe others do too.  the recommended solution is not to set your virus checker to scan incoming email. there is no risk to that as long as the virus checker will scan an attachment when you try to open it .

Hi all,

We have had quite a lot of clients connecting to our Vopmail server in the past few months reporting the following error from their mail client.

 

"Your Server Has Unexpectedly Terminated the Connection"

 

 

I am led to believe that this is caused by incomplete headers in spam email. Is this right? Does anyone have this problem using Modus?
