You should make a maintenance plan in the SQL enterprise manager (just follow the defaults) this will create a weekly job that will check the database for problems and reorganize the data (like a defrag) this should keep your database nice and happy, although it is not required.

Subject: [Modus] SQL DatabaseQ

Hi:

We have switched to the SQL database storage.  We did this because we could barely last a day until the mdb file was nearly 2 mg....

Is there a need to do anything with the SQL database?  Will the file be maintained properly or is there something else we need to do to keep it from getting too big?

We do not have an SQL administrator.....so I am asking the real experts!

Thanks...
