If so, what was the cause and cure ? Thanks, Larry I still experience intermediate delays in my connection.  I will be surfing fine then all of a sudden things come to a stand still.  Some times it only last a few minutes, but other times it is longer.  If I disconnect and reconnect all is fine usually until the next delay.   Originally I had DNS set to assigned.  Then I changed to the DNS IP addresses you recommended to XP users.
