I have modified these without issues in previous versions of Modus Mail.
I will get our Alpha system back up and stable again soon and will test this out with newer builds. If you want me to test out your customized template just drop it in a private mail to me.

I tried to edit them a few months ago and nothing I did seemed to make any difference. I gave up meaning to pick it up again, but I haven't.
After reading these recent messages, one explanation seems obvious: The
original templates have malformed syntax.
Mind you, I have no proof - just deduction. Elementary, my dear administrator.
Hope I'm wrong!

I've also had problems with the XSL templates and XML files. I'vetriedto do no more than change the "System Administrator" email address.Themessage always reverts to the default template - and I'm 110% surethatit's not due to malformed XML/XSL. Note that even editing non-tag elements of the template has no effect whatsoever!
Has anyone successfully customized any of these?
