* This is the modus mailing list * That is usually my first step, but that didn't work this time (cleaning out mailbox and disabling virus checking on his end).
Problem was, it did this whether there was an attachment in his messages or not. When there was a large attachment, we noticed (have seen this before but can't duplicate it when working with Vircom) is the message itself that is downloading gets locked. We can't open it, delete it, nothing until we start/stop POP3 services on ModusMail. Outlook or Modus, not sure which, aborts the call in the middle of the transfer because of timeouts I'm guessing and tries again which locks the user out of webmail as well. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Frank M. I have them use webmail to read and delete everything (purge deleted messages after marking them) and then it's fine in outlook again. Frank M.
