I know you mentioned not wanting cherrypy specifically, but I've found it to
be very tidy for small web apps. Have you looked at it in any detail? The
tutorial has a little section illustrating a form post, and configuring it
is pretty simple if you follow their page on integrating with mod_wsgi.
