That's fair comment, Martyn, maybe I'm panicking unduly, I suppose the line has lasted 23 years already, it just made such a mess and obtaining bits to fix it have been taxing I dont want to revisit it. As a temporary fix I have removed the broken end - the fracture occurred as the pipe exits the nut, and reseated the compression fitting. It still seemed to be weeping slightly so I am suspicious it hasn't fully resolved the problem...

The oil line on my 4/4 cvh fractured at the weekend, some of you may have seen my thread on TM. I would really like to avoid this happening again, and so would like to decommission the oiler system and swap the mechanical tudor

There seems to be a decent choice of 52mm dials, which seem to come with a sender. I would be grateful if anyone can recommend a specific device, I am
thinking that some brands may fit in the dash better than others.
