Hi
I have been watching this thread and whilst I may be 'shot down' could
this hose not be replaced with one of the silicone hoses favoured by the
likes of Subaru and Mitsubushi owners? I have no knowledge of the
'silicon' compound or it's suitability for fuel use but a little
research may prove fruitful

Hi Tony,
I did think about that but the main pipe is crazing on the surface too, it
doesn't show up well on the photos I attached. I could fix the problem that
way for a short while but then I would be in there again because of leaks in
the main pipe.

Why don't you cut off the small hose about midway and graft another one the
same size to it? That would be a lot better than £80!!
