Hi

I have been watching this thread and whilst I may be 'shot down' could this hose not be replaced with one of the silicone hoses favoured by the likes of Subaru and Mitsubushi owners? I have no knowledge of the 'silicon' compound or it's suitability for fuel use but a little research may prove fruitful

Why don't you cut off the small hose about midway and graft another one the
same size to it? That would be a lot better than £80!!
