Thanks to all who offered advice on this one. . I've found the fibre washers many of you describe. They're all in good order.
. No signs of water getting in to any of the light fittings. . I've checked the harness near the alternator that David Gibbon describes and can't see any signs of wear or chafing. . Replaced the 20 amp yellow fuse. All flashers (and hazards) now working okay. . Waggled all the wiring including that to the side repeater flashers when the flashers were going and turned steering wheel from side to side - unable to replicate the problem! . So it's back to BHM for more work. Intermittent electrical faults are a real s*d to find. The flashing indicators on Wendy's Roadster 4 seater (2006) keep blowing the fuse. When I replace the fuse it sometimes blows again instantly the right hand indicator is selected, sometimes after 50 miles or so. BHM's ace electrician has crawled all over it and could find no fault. Replaced the fuse and it's now gone again after the usual 50 miles. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm open to fresh ideas.
