MessageLikewise. The stuff I use is more like a long-fibre unwoven material
cotton wool, but it was for a cooker hood.

Gerry,
I used a piece of surplus foam mesh from a cooker hood filter kit.

Subject: [mogtalk2] Heater inlet screen
During my recent tour through France I became aware of a number of dead
insects landing up on my lap. I checked the heater inlet and found the open
mesh 'filter' to be a bit damaged. I'm trying to think of some suitable and
readily available substitute for the original- maybe a bit of nylon stocking.
Any other ideas? It needs to be fine enough to stop said insects, but not too
restrictive to the airflow.
Gerry
