Donal That is very sad , and I can appreciate just how worrying this is for you. The only crumb of comfort I can offer is the fact that MMC insist that the deposits that customers pay to get their build slot are forwarded to Malvern and should not be held by the dealer. If Monks have followed this then your money should be safe , but I would make contact with the factory today and check with them. Don't use email , ring and ask for Mark Leddington and talk it through with him.
I fear that this may not be the last of these "new" dealers who will go a similar way. MMC appeared to be quite desperate to expand its dealer network , and took on several new outlets who do not have the background and history with Morgans. I think the lesson here (accepting this is locking the stable door after the horse has bolted in your case Donal) is to order your car from one of the longer established dealers as they have a long history of satisfied Morgan customers that they have built up over decades and they are not going to jeopardise that.
