Not up to speed with recent electronic ignitions mine has a Lucas set-up
which I fitted when it was about 18 months old 1978/9 and have a couple
of spare boxes/ECU's not that I have needed them. The reason I used the
Lucas was that I could carry the points etc and if a failure occurred
swap back to them. It may be worth keeping that in mind
