My 1998 4/4 has its original hood with he windscreen studs. She is my first Mog and to begin with I found by the time I had erected hood and side screens the rain had stopped! Things are better now with practice and we all stay pretty dry. Hood down whenever possible I say but if you don' t erect it when needed then what's the point of having one, as the art mistress said to the gardner!!
