ok, we need a special seperator char for the group seperator:
at the mon script: line 1020 : if ($l =~ /^hostgroup\s+([a-zA-Z0-9_.-]+)\s*(.*)/) according to the regexp a-zA-Z0-9_.- can be used. but we should add a special parameter for it or? like the ":", then we could use the perl style: group1::group2::group3 ... ;> ok but if i add the char for testing: if ($l =~ /^hostgroup\s+([a-zA-Z0-9_.-:]+)\s*(.*)/) it doesnt work ... i cant find a another check or a kind of it. any tips? greetz frank Norland, Martin schrieb: >I don't think we want anything that might resemble or be a valid DNS >record (or IP address), do we?
